Apache Park | Peoria, Arizona

Apache Park is located in Peoria, Arizona, just east of Arrowhead Mall. It’s the perfect treat after a day of shopping in Arrowhead center or just a fun place to take the kids for a park outing.

What sets this park apart is that the larger play structure has SEVEN slides, Seven! Plus, a great climbing section and lots of room to run and play in grass or ride bikes/push a stroller around.

There are two play structures at Apache Park. One designed for kiddos 18 months to 5 years. It has two of its own slides, a small climbing structure, a tunnel, and a couple of features for imaginative play. The second structure is designed for 5+ and has seven slides and the larger climbing structure.

This place has slides galore but only two swings; a traditional swing and a bucket swing.

Another great feature of Apache Park is that the bathrooms are located right next to the park, so you don’t have to run far if the littles really “gotta go.”

Apache park also has basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, and while this park is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, which was something else I liked, the park lighting at night, could use some work!

Overall though, Apache Park is ranked a the top of our list of the best parks in Peoria. The large trails for riding bikes/walking and the gallizion 😉 slides were a fun park for the kids and the adults!
