Paloma Park | North Peoria, Arizona

Paloma Park, located in North Peoria, is one for the books! Paloma Park sits on 85 acres of land. It is big, it is beautiful, it is a sight to see!

I gotta mention right at the beginning though, because Paloma Park is so beautiful and there aren’t many extraordinary parks in the Upper Westside of Peoria, Paloma is typically pretty crowded, so keep that in mind! That is also a reason why I don’t have many photos of this park 🙃

Paloma Park has a large play structure geared for ages 6+ that includes five slides and lots of climbing equipment. Just off of the playground are also lots of interactive equipment and a super neat interactive wall.

There is also a smaller play structure geared towards your littler walkers and climbers. There are three slides, a few things to climb, and other interactive play pieces off of the structure, including a neat interactive wall.

A downside to this park is there is not much shaded seating; many mamas have mentioned that the huge grass field next to the playground could use some trees, and I agree! It is a new park, though, and I believe trees and more development are underway.

A major bonus, though is that bathrooms are located directly next to the playground!

Paloma Park is a fun spot in the summer months, too, because of it’s splash pad!

The splash pad doesn’t include many interactive pieces like Pioneer Park’s Splash Pad does, but it’s still a great feature available in the summer, and the splash pad is well shaded (pics to come)

⭐️Another neat feature that my kids and I like to explore when we visit is the large fishing pond! This fishing pond is unique because it is also a story trail! So as you walk around a greet the ducks, you can read “Head to Toe” by Eric Carle with 18 different prompts surrounding the large pond!
