Corporate Land Purchases Signify MAJOR ECONOMIC GROWTH for Phoenix West Valley!
Nike | Chewy | Whiteclaw | Redbull | Microsoft
Nike- In August of 2019, Nike purchased an industrial building in Goodyear, Arizona, for a whopping $70 million dollars and is projected to invest another $184 million into the facility. The facility will be a shoe sole manufacturing plant and is projected to employ upwards of 500 people.
White Claw - In May of this year, 2020, White claw was given final approval to begin construction of their 95 acre property, in Glendale, Arizona, that is projected to employ 200 people.
Red Bull - Redbull also purchased land in Glendale, Arizona. Redbull is projected to employ 140 people during the first phase of their development.
Chewy - Chewy, online pet store, opened up shop, in Goodyear, Arizona in 2019 and since has hired more than 400 people for their growing distribution center!
Microsoft - Microsoft purchased land in Goodyear, Arizona and after the purchase released this statement "As part of our plans to support the growing demand for cloud and internet services in Arizona and across the Western United States, Microsoft recently purchased land at two locations in Goodyear, Arizona where we intend to develop world-class data center facilities.”
It’s not known how many jobs the facility will produce but this is good news for the Phoenix West Valley economy– It’s good news for job growth, and real estate development and the overall health and sustainability of the beautiful Pheonix West Valley area!
