1. Place Bills on The Kitchen Counter - Place your three summer bills on the counter. If summer bills are not available, place your three most recent utility bills on the counter. WHAT IS EVEN MORE POWERFUL is if you have a summer utility bill from BEFORE, you had solar and a Utility Bill WITH Solar. Place both of those bills on the counter for prospects to see.
2. Call Your Solar Provider for Marketing Materials / Details - Gather materials from your solar provider and make them visible, next to the bills. It is also helpful to have the CAD design of what solar looks like, in its entirety, on your roof available to view. Highlight the Fact that a homeowner with Solar, DOES NOT have to abide by "peak hours" and can instead wash their clothes, do dishes, and run the a/c WHENEVER THEY WANT! #Freedom!

Price it Right - A home with leased solar has more perceived value compared to an identical house in the area without; it is, however, not more valuable in price than the identical house without solar. Buyers are instead looking for homes that give them a strong emotional draw. A home that makes them oooh and ahhhh. If you want your home to sell for full-price and in a fairly quick fashion. Ensure A. you have beautiful pictures of clean, organized spaces on the MLS; virtual tours are also wildly impactful. B. the house smells good when you do get foot traffic. C. The exterior is well maintained and has a bit of curb appeal and D. Investing in fixing the little things that we sometimes just let go bc they’re not big deals but can be a big deal for the prospect, especially when there is a toss-up between two similarly priced homes. Get the leaky faucets fixed. Upgrade the mirrors and hardware in the bathrooms, add some flowers to the walkway. Simple, low-budget adjustments that will give you a level up to close competition and elicit those emotions of oooh and ahhhhh, I could live here! These little things will make a big impact on the sale of your home.
