K-1 Racing | Date Night | Phoenix

K1- Speed Indoor Cart Racing is one of our favorite date night activities in Phoenix!

K-1 is technically not located in the Phoenix West Valley, but it’s worth the drive for a fun date night!…Just don’t overdo your make-up and hair for this one because you have to wear a head sock and a helmet for this activity! 😄

What makes K-1 so unique and fun is that these electric go-karts are made for adults, have 20-horse power, and get up to 20 miles an hour which is pretty fast when you’re whipping around the corners of the small track!

Jordan and I are pretty competitive, so we like to race to see who completed the fastest, and I usually lose 😂but it’s still so fun!

If you want to turn this into a fun date with your younger kids, they offer junior race night, and the children who participate in junior race night must be at least 48” tall. *K-1 Race website says that the kids have to be tall enough and must be able to safely operate all elements of the kart.  

No driver’s license is necessary to race at K-1 Phoenix, but non-Junio drivers, AKA adults and teenagers, must be minimum of 4’10” to drive.

The K-1 date night experience usually lasts about 45 mins, depending on how many races you decide to do. 

One race is 12 laps and takes about ten, high adrenaline, minutes. 😂

1 race is $25 a person 

2 races are $45 a person 

3 races are $60 a person
