Where to stay and what to do in St. George with kids | Part Two
Where to stay and fun things to do when traveling in St George with Kids!
This blog is part two of traveling to St. George with Kids. If you missed part one, you can view it here.
We love St. George and recently had family move there, so we have visited three times this last year and plan to visit lots more! It’s the perfect place for outdoor adventure with both Zion and Bryce Canyon being so close, not to mention all the mountains to climb and explore within St George city limits!
Our most recent trip to St. George was for our annual gathering with Jordan’s parents and siblings. We decided to meet in St. George, where his brother now lives.
…anyway, the place we stayed in was EPIC!
It was perfect for our crew. We did less than we thought we were going to do because the house accommodated us so well with a movie theatre, slide connected to the home, air hockey table, video game consoles, and more! Plus, the heated pool and jacuzzi were in eyes view of the house.
There were 15 of us total in the home, and this Airbnb in St. George could have accommodated several more comfortably.

Outside of the fun Airbnb, here are a few more fun things we did with the kids during this trip to St George.
The first one is the St. George children’s museum.
This place is small in stature but mighty in fun!
First, the outside of the St. George children’s museum is so picturesque and affordable!
The St George Museum is packed full of fun, a place where you could spend minimum three hours exploring. Then to add to the fun to the museum is a nearby carousel, but the carousel is far enough away that you can hide it from the kids if you want to! 😄
We also took a second trip to Snow Canyon State Park
We didn’t hike Snow Canyon this time but instead just let the kids play in the red dirt while the parents sat and chatted. We did that for a solid 2 hours!! Kids love playing in the sand.
We love St. George, and it’s a great place to take a family trip with kids! And it’s just so dang beautiful! Look at this picture I took from our last trip! Where else can you get a photo of lava rock, red rock and snowy mountains in one view?!
If you have any additional questions, let me know!
St. George is also a great place to stay when you plan to explore Bryce Canyon and Zion.
